All About Us Here At Furbaby Heaven
Welcome to Furbaby Heaven.  We are located in Kannapolis, North
Carolina.  This page is just to let you know who we are.  My name is
Angela Dobson and I am a loving furbaby mommy to 1 wonderful
shih tzu.    I have placed my other 7 furbabies in loving homes.  
Shih Tzus are the only breed of babies I have.  That lets me focus
on one breed and learn as much as I can about them.  I am honored
to be allowed to live with them.  My babies run the house their way
mostly.  Our furbabies have the run of the house.  We even got a
king size bed so that we could all be more comfortable.

I am married to my fantastic husband Eric, the Operations Manager  
for an electrical contractor in Huntersville, North Carolina.  We
have two children that we are very proud of.  Our daughter,
Patience, graduates from college at Cabarrus Academy of Health
and Sciences in May 2011.  Taylor is our 18 year old son and a
freshman at Appalachian State University .  He helps a lot with the
new babies when they start moving around when he is home.

I have been breeding shih tzus since 2005 and absolutely love the
breed.  They have such wonderful personalities and so easy to
"turn into kids".  I had several different colors to offer a variety to
my clients.  I had red, black, brindle, red and white, black and white
and gold and white.  All of the babies can be seen on Our Females

Babies page and some on the References page.  Each baby that
leaves Furbaby Heaven is AKC registered, vet checked, up-to-date
on vaccinations, toys, food, treats, lots of information and totally
spoiled.

My new furbabies are born in a play yard in my bedroom where I am
there to assist mommy or just soothe her in between.  They spend
the first several weeks there as they begin to mature, open their
eyes, move around.  Once they are able to walk around, they move
into a bigger playpen where they can begin paper training, eating
and playing.  From the playpen, once paper trained, we get to live
with everyone else and learn how to play with bigger one like us.  I
socialize and play with the babies in different environments from
the time they can play.  Loving and attention begins as soon as
they can sense it.  

I do like to keep in touch with my babies.  To do so, I offer advice or
information anytime you need it.  I also "baby" sit for the babies
when you have to go out of town.  I do not like kennels, or cages,
and would rather the babies have round the clock care instead of 3
times a day and the night in a cage alone.  They live here the way
they live at home until you come home.
Anyone considering adding one to their family, please pay me a
home visit or even speak to some of my parents.  I have several
homes with 2 or more of my babies in them.  

I do support closing down of puppy mills and do not sell my babies
to pet stores.  I watch the bond between the baby and their new
family as they choose each other.  I also choose not to fly any of my
babies anywhere.  I just can't make myself put them into a little
crate.
